It’s Been A While—What’s Been Up?
Since starting my blog over a year ago, I have struggled with content curation. It’s not that I don’t have anything to say. It’s really quite the opposite. I’ve got so much to say—things that I cannot bring myself to properly process, because I suffer from Imposter Syndrome. It’s the tiny little voice that screams my doubts the loudest.
I’m still learning how to address this tiny little voice that picks the worst time to whisper into my ear.
Since we’ve been in quarantine, I’ve take action against the sounds of “that’s not you.” Instead of internalizing my fears, I have taken a page out of Shonda Rhimes’ A Year of Yes: I have said yes to doing things that scare me. That meant launching a second business and trusting that I can make the time to cater to my first endeavour while building a solid foundation for the second.
It’s a work in progress, but the reward at the end of this road makes it all worth it. It motivates me and empowers me to know that I am doing something that used to unnerve me.
The last couple months have been scary, has that fear pushed you to do anything that terrifies you?!
